winmtr ?

Definitively not issue on the client side. having these issues myself lately. It is not the packet loss shown on the WinMTR, because with the same amount of packet loss, I do not have any lag or connection issues with any other ET server. Those are simply dropped ICMP packets.

There is an issue with Jay1. Ping goes up by 2x or even 3x and the game eventually gets unplayable. Then suddenly the lag is completely gone (the packet loss still shown on the WinMTR, so it is not affecting or causing lag issues) and one can normally play. The issue is either happening on the server or something else is affecting the network performance (not a connection issue). Another thing - Jay1 is the only server where you can be hit behind the corner, another signal there is a network issue on the server side.

@Bison90

I see your ping is fluctuating quite a bit (big difference between best and worst with high average). Can you, please, run a network connection test and post a screenshot of it?

You can run it here: https://www.speedtest.net/

How does that compare to yours?

ACK!  The forums did not combine my last 2 posts. :(

Yes, your lagometer looked pretty good on Jay#1 about 2.5 hours ago.

Mine is wifi but I got an amplifier from Telekom for my room so I can use a LAN cable. There's no other way I think mine is 100 but as I see yours is very good

Are you saying that you can get into Jay#3/Beginners#1 okay, but it lags for you, too?

ADDED:  I see that both you and @boki are in Croatia.  :hmm

I now come in jay1 but ping is too high not playable my ping was around 118-125 if bad a bit higher but not 200-400 croatia 😄im from germany hm

Is there a way, for testing purposes at least, to connect your computer to your router using a network cable (to avoid wireless connection completely and the amplifier)? Then you should repeat all those tests and see what comes out.

My results are similar to those of Leatherface, regarding the speed. Yours response times seem a bit too high for a connection originating from Germany (would be normal for India, i.e.).

Did you problems start with adding that extender? Or, can you connect the issue start with anything you have done on the computer or router?

I don't know what you mean but I'll say so wifi router is living room extender in my room with lan cable I don't use wifi but before that I had no problem only I bought another GPU installed play pure high ping why but it has to work exactly like that hmm
