Recruiting Server Problem

I wanted to join the Recruiting server to check if I was okay. When the map loads the whole game closes. Any help?

can you make a video of it happening ? need more info then the game just  closed when i tried to join a server

i have exact same problem like you, i tried lowering com_hunkmegs to 128 and it seems to work now (almost 😄)

I made a check, I try 128; I had it at 736😀

i have the same problem today already change com_hunkmegs to 128 and the game closes

did u check if it changed to 128? "latched: 128" wont work, you need to edit the hunkmegs in your etconfig or right click on the ETLegacy app - properties - target - change com_hunkmegs to 128 from there.

Is it supposed to be 128?? Mine is set to 512

i used to have 1064, i have 48 RAM - 1GB RAM for et wont affect my pc but looks like it doesnt work like that for jaymod 😕 

so i set to 128 and worked fine for me. 

higher than 128 is not really used - i play on trickjump maps with 512 hunkmegs sometimes because if i have less the game crashes - remember tricjump maps are way bigger than frag maps and do have higher quality textures (some of them atleast)

well it worked for me 128 hunkmegs for jaymod, when i had 1064 i could play on beginners 2 and any trickjump server. had to lower to 128 just ot join recruiting server. other than that i wouldnt change it. 

imo 128 hunkmegs is enough for fragging.

I wonder if this is any reason why I cannot join any silent servers with ETL
