Not to ruin the flow of the game but maybe we should have the option to do S or the letter that is second to last. Thoughts? To me S is the same as “The” in the beginning.

Agree with that. There are way too many bands that finish with "S" which keeps us stuck. Im ok with the second to last option!

Actually i'm thinking of something like that for a long time. Some letters never get picked. 

 

Could be the last letters of any compound name,

or the last 2 letters of the single name as you mentioned,

or some of the letters like 's' used a joker to bump up any other letter on the poster's discretion.

 

either way let's try to give some flexibility.
