It is such a beautiful day, so it's time to start my summer fishing season today. Hopefully i have tight lines and strong knots!

 

That last sentence is finnish saying and almost every finnish fisher knows "kireitä siimoja ja tiukkoja solmuja" 😄

It is considered as a bad luck if someone wishesh good luck for fishing 😂 i know some who will get mad with that and prefers the "kireitä siimoja ja tiukkoja solmuja"

Oh, thats one that i havent heard of myself. But im just a very casual fisher myself 😛 i enjoy the peace of nature and nice sights depending from fishing spot catching something is just extra hahah

Got first bite pretty fast, but didn't hook anything. Took a while to get this one, unfortunately it's too small so had to release it. In my waters zander under 45cm has to be released by law.

Nice catch! Looks like you found a good spot. I love getting out there early in the morning when the weather is beautiful. It’s so peaceful. Nothing but the sound of nature and the creek. I fish for Trout mainly in the local creeks around me but some of my buddies fish for catfish.

I usually end up losing lures there or just empty trip. But it's awesome to listen the water flow even without any catch. But ended up getting two zanders, pretty succesfull first trip. And second one was tall enough to take.
