Lt Steiner Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Axis & Allies originally by Avalon Hill, a strategy board game similar to Risk set in the Second World War. There exist tons of different versions and revisions, limiting the scope of the map, set in different years of the war or having slightly different rule sets. Played it a lot with my brother and some friends growing up and over the internet via e-mail (you would send all your moves in text form to your opponent who would then reproduce them on his own board and vice versa). It's always been an arduous task to set up a board before playing but luckily nowadays good PC ports exist of the game, like Axis & Allies 1942 Online on Steam. 2 Quote
