Bizarre XP thing

There is an incoherence between these two images. Will you find it?

Why? I thinked my XP disappeared, but it isn the case.

In fact, my XP followed his normal growth.

The difference between XP showed when pressing the TAB Button and the one shown on the screen,  its propably on jaymod only since HUD is different on other mods(I think), its propably due to the fact that higher xp would cause the numbers to overlap on HP or other numbers textures(not exactly sure how to explain it in English), so then it starts showing from beggining on the main screen but xp is still saved when You check on the TAB Button. 

But i'm not 100% sure that's just what i think.

I think that it is probably because the original ET authors did not think that XP would be saved past one "session".  XP would not be 'saved' for the next connection.

 

While the mods keep the total XP saved and display it via the TAB key, the 'playing screen' may go to 0 each time that a multiple of 64k is reached.

 

Elzozo is showing "65,887" in the TAB display, but only 351 on his playing screen.  65,887 - 351 = 65,536 = 64kb = 2 ^16 .

 

 

This will happen each time that your XP gets to 65,536, 131,072, 196,608, 393,216,  ....  😄

Weird, I always thought the HUD XP was just for that map
