Having dealt with Acer in the past and knowing their parts supplies chain I personally woudln't buy it, but if you are in for a cheap laptop I guess its ok.

Yeah i'm not a big fan of acer either, most of the ones i have used were slow and junky (They were filled to the max and had xp though.) but for what my family will use it for i doubt it will die or slow down anytime soon. Plus it's the best Cpu & Graphics card for $500 i've seen.

 

If i wasn't so broke i would rather of gotten them a Dell or Asus just because i've had good experiences with those brands. (I had a old toshiba Tv & laptop and both have issues where the screen goes black/grey, so i have to punch the sides of them to get them working rofl.)

 

Edit: (I also want to play Command and conquer 3 with them so the normal ati 4250 would not do.)
