old stats back?

Hello everybody!

 

Didn't figureout any better topic. But my problem is, i'm kinda back to gaming now. Old hard drive brokedown and then changed windows. I have old etkey and silent.dat files on external hard drive. I installed everything and used these old files. But cannot get my old stats back to beginner #2 server. Am I doing something wrong, or are those gone for good now. Placed etkey file under etmain folder. And this silent.dat file under silent folder.

 

And now my profiles W:ET GUID and S:ET GUID doesen't match up.

Searching for your name on Beg#2, I found 3 sets of S:ET GUIDs from 4 and 5 hours ago, all on the same IP.

 

It looks like your silent.dat file is not being 'saved' or is being overwritten for each session that you play on Beginners#2.

 

If a player has no silent.dat file in the Silent folder, then the server will download a new file.

 

   I wonder if you are running ET "as admin"?  ET won't be allowed by Windows to make any changes in your ET-installation if you do not. 

 

There is one "ukko" name that has a level 1 admin and a playing time of over 4 days total.  (All of the ukko-named 'players' ended up with ukko-names.  Two had "T.Ukk0nen" as a preliminary name/alias.

 

Here is the longest-played name, which has a level 1 admin.  This would have the most XP.

Make sure that you are "running ET as admin" now.  It looks you were doing so before the recent problems.  It would be nice if you had a backup copy of your silent.dat file from when you began to play ET Silent mod again.

 

ADDED:  The two other S:ETs with ukko-names and IP were both seen on 2022-10-31 

 

Sort order is Last Seen. The leve1-1 admin is the last one seen.  I wonder if that means that your problem is solved now.

I'm not sure what do you mean by "stats", is it XP or your levels ?

 

XP is saved for 30 days after 30 days of inactivity your XP will disappear.

 

To retrive your lvl's you must copy your old etkey to etmain folder:

 

-for 2.60b etmain folder is in installation folder

- for ETL documents/etlegacy/etmain

 

Same thing for silent.dat but you need to put it in silent mod folder (not etmain)

 

-for 2.60b installation folder > silent mod folder

- for ETL documents/etlegacy/silent

First answering to Siwex89. Yes i meant XP, K/D and PRW ratios. And i had level2 admin and tried to get them back by using old ones. No wonder why old files seemed like didn't work, as I've been offline for 3+ years now. So xp's most likely gone. Not sure if i have right old etkey saved, looked external harddrive and google drives, i have 2 different etkeys. Don't ask me why, one was created 2015 and other 2017 😄

 

And then answering to RedBraid. Thank you for this answer. Now i know witch silent.dat is the right one with profile(i think, quick search on forums showed how to make sure). I had couple of these too, again don't ask me why, can't remember that old stuff 😄 All those were me, when i first installed ET back, i didn't even remember i have old files saved. When i remembered i might have old files with lots of xp and level-2 admin, i tried to use those. But seems xp and admin level are gone, and this is why i thought i did something wrong or files didn't work and made this question here.

Not sure what you mean by this, if you mean backup copy of silent.dat when i started playing again last week, yes i have it backuped.

Both etkeys have unknown with cl_guid command, seems they were wrong ones
