Floods in Belgium

[Hesis]

I've been told some people don't believe there is floods in Belgium so I walked to the city to see it from my very own eyes.

 

But my city was relatively safe, an acquaintance is living in the flooded area of a village we can see in this video : https://m.facebook.com/groups/2161107437263293/permalink/5979977832042882/

Horrible:/ same here in southern parts of The Netherlands, but not nearly as bad as in Germany (45 deaths) and in your country. Still looking like USA - ish pictures, happened after a hurricane or something. All the best for all the people!

There was also a landslide 😱

It's so bizarre because I can recall the weather forecast the day before. They told us that they would be heavy rains but never that whole villages would be entirely flooded.
The forecast was nothing unusual and the day after people wake up with water up to their 1st floor surrounded by water. They could not escape when they woke up. That's so crazy.

It's horrible to see what's currently happening. Totally heartbreaking. 

 

For all the people who are currently involved in this crazy situation, wish u a lot of strength! Hopefully you are all okay.
