Can someone tell me how to throw a knife?

Good to be back playing ET after a few years away and it has been fun getting knifed a bunch but I cannot figure out how to throw a knife. Probly pretty simple but I have looked around and can't find any info.  Thnx in advance for your help and looking forward to shiving yall soon.

Hi Jimbo, welcome to the forums! 

If you're playing on our Jaymod servers, you can make an alternate fire bind (everyone uses mouse2, the right side of your mouse - usually your ADS button) 

 

Load into one of our Jaymod servers, and hit the 'Esc' key > Find the Jaymod tab > Misc > on the bottom somewhere should say "Alternate fire" > Click that, and tap mouse2. 

 

No need to worry about it messing up your other binds, this will only effect your knives. The longer you hold down mouse2 when going to throw the knife, the farther it will go and it will do more damage. Mind you, you will need level 5 Covert Ops to get the poison knives. 

 

For our silEnT servers:

 

Hit "Esc" > Options > Controls > on the right hand side near the top, you should see "Switch to Alternate" > Click that, and choose your bind!

we also made help menu for this and turning vsays off etc..

 

When in a team press v 0 and you will see help menu with shortcuts to help.

I believe this is only on the Beginners 1-2 servers though.

Probably anywhere with a custom soundpack.. Very few use it but its useful if you want to focus on fragging rather than vsay spam..
