Change Nick collor

Hello there? Whats up?

Im with problems to change my nickname colors. Everyone knows that we open console with " Key. However, my console open and close with  ´ and ^ Key too, so, i can't change my nickname color, becoz, eveytime i press ^my console close to me.

What can i do in that case?

Hi Santos, you can also change your nick colour in the limbo screen - might just be the easiest solution for now

maybe a solution could be create a file .cfg with this

echo "^qq^ww^ee^rr^tt^yy^uu^ii^oo^pp"

echo "^aa^ss^dd^ff^gg^hh^jj^kk^ll"

echo "^zz^xx^cc^vv^bb^nn^mm"

echo "^11^22^33^44^55^66^77^88^99^00"

 

when you exec this it will show u all the colors or you can use our nickname generator:

anyway you could see the colors. If you want to change it you can do these 2 ways:

 

type in the cfg file:

seta name "^hyour_^wname_^qis_here"

or

copy and paste your name in the console with the colors

/name [nameCopied]

Here you have your name in your club colours. black and white.

Put it in your etconfig and your good. 

Open the Windows folder of your ET Installation and open the etmain folder in it. then open the etconfig file in it with notepad and press f3 for search. then search your name in it and replace your actual name with the ones you want. 

now start the game and open the console and enter /exec etconfig.

 

If this process is to difficult, use the limbomenu and cklick on your name and press the console butten twice, then remove with backspace one ^ and keep going until your done.

un bind this^ from being a counsel command. why is that bind ^too ur counsel anyhow.

 

the tilda key ` should be only thing drops down ur counsel.

its above ur left tabs key next too ur 1

you can also unbind the secondary console key by typing “ /unbind ‘ “ in console

if you have legacy and latinoamerican or spanish keyboard, the tilde key is on the same place than ^ xD
