Beer is used in snail traps in the USA, but we usually have to dig a little hole for a bowl and pour some beer into it.  I will have to see if our snails are that mad-for-beer, too! 😮 

 

That sunken dump-truck on a bridge is in

     " Kridesee, which had been a chalk-mining site from 1862 to 1976.  The pumps keeping the pit clear of water were turned off in 1982 and over the course of the next six years the pit filled with crystal clear spring water." 

     " Aside from this truck and several cars, there is also a sunken Piper PA-28 airplane that once belonged to American astronaut and second man in space, Alan Shepard. It can be seen free floating about 30ft under the surface of the lake."   

 

It is a very popular dive site.
