Leader RedBaird Posted July 6, 2020 Leader Posted July 6, 2020 (edited) Did Hollywood use the same scream audio-clip for decades or did someone add it to this video? 😱 In Old Hollywood, "Cowboys & Indians" were stoic and mostly did not scream when you shot them full of bullets or arrows. Okay, I should have read the YouTube page: Quote chrisofduke 1.85K subscribers A video I found several years ago, with clips of films using the scream that is found in most George Lucas films... *NOTE** I did not make this video. Found it several years ago online.... Ah, YT offered to show this video next, where it explains that "Wilhelm" is the name of the cowboy screaming in the first shot. That movie was said to not be the first to use that sound, but poor Willy's name got stuck to it. Edited July 6, 2020 by RedBaird Poor Willy-Boy! :( 1 Quote

Leader RedBaird Posted July 6, 2020 Leader Posted July 6, 2020 I wonder if I should capture that sound for a ringtone? Would sneaking it onto a "friend's" cell be a fun prank? I said "friend" because I don't know how much longer that would be true. 1 Quote
