Hey guys,

since my pc got upgraded to Win 10 i got little drop outs of my connection. I don't had the issue before. Maybe some1 of you can help me out, because this is a bit annoying.

You can see the little drop out at the lagometer. It comes at the same tone for whole time.

Any Ideas which settings i can change?

Did you do the changes @GHARIB mentioned?? Windows 10 can run a lot of unneeded crap in the background that can cause spikes in lag.

To disable the network discovery?

It's also mentioned in the first post of bubble

WiFi always has troubles, specially if you have more of 5 end devices on your local network. (Watching movies, downloading or uploading files). So try with cable. If it doesn't works also you can do /rate 50000 on game and /cl_maxpackets 100 or /cl_maxpackets 125 (legacy)

SSDP is a dependency service so can still run even if network discovery is disabled in network settings, run services.msc and see if SSDP is still running. If it is stop it then see if you still have the same problem.

Wifi isn't really the best so i'd advise you try ethernet to see if it fixes your issue, if it does then its your wifi card but if not you will have to run wireshark and see whats running on your network at the same time as ET (Quake3).

SSDP is not running still the same problem 😕

I had used the cable yesterday and i had the same issue. Just tried again with another cable, same issue. My connection is good. Seems to be related just with the game.

I am using Bitdefender as antivirus system, as i did before. Don't know anymore...

EDIT:

May i found the issue, we forgot to install the 2.60b patch maybe this caused my problems. Also my brother found the newest PB update from years ago on his PC... just installed it too. Not sure which helped to fix the issue.

But now it seems to run as good as before. Time to kick asses :P
