-=First=- Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 hahahhahahahahahahahahahahaahaha!!! Here's the original my friend : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgHGU8gqz9U composed by one of my favorite french composer : Michel Berger, it's been a big hit in France during the 80's, sang by France Gall. It's a song about Ella Fitzgerald (jazz woman) : Ella elle a (means "Ella, she has...") Here for you translation of the lyrics to understand the double meanings : C'est comme toute l'histoire - it's like the history of Du peuple noir - the black people/folk Qui se balance - swinging Entre l'amour et l'désespoir - between love and despair Quelque chose qui danse en toi - something which you dance Si tu l'as, tu l'as - if you've got it, you've got it Ella, elle l'a - hear Ella Ella (Fitzgerald) Ce je n'sais quoi - this thing that i can't name Que d'autres n'ont pas - that others don't have Qui nous met dans un drôle d'état - which bring us to a wierd/strange state Ella, elle l'a Ella, elle l'a Ou-ou ou-ou ou-ou ou Elle a, ou-ou ou-ou ou-ou ou, cette drôle de voix - this rum/wierd/funny voice Elle a, ou-ou ou-ou ou-ou ou, cette drôle de joie Ce don du ciel qui la rend belle - this gift of heaven that make her beautiful/a beauty Great couple (France + Michel)
-=First=- Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 In parallel, Michel Berger wrote another song that refers to Jerry Lee Lewis and is a tribute to his particular way of playing the piano standing, symbol of freedom and rebellion (according to Berger's lyrics). Another possible referring is to Elton John who's I think the grandfather of their child (Michel Berger + France Gall). Ça veut dire qu'il était libre Heureux d'être là , malgré tout Il jouait du piano debout Quand les trouillards sont à genoux et les soldats au-garde-à -vous Simplement sur ses deux pieds Il voulait être lui vous comprenez That means he was free Glad to be here, anyway He played the piano standing When cowards are on their knees and soldiers stands to attention Simply/just on his both feet He wanted be HIM, you understand. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6yobV8KiQY
