Hey I've moved into the city for school and I'm living with a few roomates and another guy that I'm playing with plays et. We tried playing together today and every 5 seconds or so my ping spiked, this happens even when he's not playing and he's just on the internet, just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on how I/we could fix this?

If you have access to router use port forwarding and see if it helps.

Will do, have to wait till this weekend though, my roomate left the router hardware cd at home so I can't do shit on my laptop :rolleyes:
