Ah, so that wasn't the Parasite X. It was kinda different and it was looking like it from Metroid Fusion. But I must be wrong. Also, I didn't knew that the Chozo created the metroids. Idiots..... No more love for the chozo!

It supposed that Chozo HAD to "create" a vaccine against parasite X because many chozoz were dying. So they were the ones who genetically engineered the Metroids in order to prevent the spread of parasites X.

 

Actually they "created" Mother Brain too :o

Might want to look at http://metroid.wikia.com/wiki/Metroid_timeline for some light reading on the story behind Metroid. http://metroid.wikia.com/wiki/Metroid_(Species) For the history of the Metroid, and http://metroid.wikia.com/wiki/Metroid_manga to find out that there was an entire story arc created for the series that explains Samus' past.

Yeah, wikitroid made a great data compilation about Metroid Serie.

 

I got the First and second volumen Manga of Metroid in spanish version B)
