Gamer Nightz #1: Diablo 2 For Everyone
Gamer Nightz is just a fun idea of having once every week (or 2 weeks) a new set of games to play with everyone from FA community. It gives the chance for people to play different games on a friday night with people they know =D (not some random strangers and help introduce people to more games out there 
). Anyone can suggest a game, and I will post a poll in the gaming discussion thread to organize future gatherings for different games =D (Vote or suggest whatever you like and I'll add it to polls)
We will be having a Diablo 2 LAN game next week on wednesday (20th) or friday (22th). The date may have to be moved back until we can find a time that suits everyone.
The reason we are playing Lan is because many members don't have the retail copy and instead a torrented one (if you don't have it just google it lol. I cannot give you the sites =P). Therefore there CD-key cannot be registered online to play on Battle.net. So far we have 4 people and a single game can host up to 8. So if you would like play with us, just post a comment or message me.
Rules:
4-8 players (and if more people would like to play, I can run a 2nd lan game on my other computer)
No Hero Editors or Weapon Editors!!
No cheats enabled !!

HOW TO CONNECT IN DIABLO 2 CLIENT:
At title screen go to "OTHER MULTIPLAYER" --> "TCP/IP GAME" --> Join Game --> Type in the hosts IP address that you see in hamachi
Downloads Required (Easy and Simple Guide):
Diablo II + Expansion: I cannot give you the link for this but if you search google I am sure you can find a torrent. You will also need dameon tools or power iso (or any ISO mount tool) in order to install the game (you will have to swap dvds/iso which it will prompt you to do so. Also mount the play disc to play after instaling because there is no "no-cd" crack for diablo 2). It is relatively easy but if you need assistance tell me and I'll guide you through in less than 2 mins

*This is the latest patch which will ensure better stability and less glitches =D. Just double click and it will install in the Diablo 2 directory default location. No effort required

Common Problems with Vista: Run in admin mode (Lol we should all know that by now) and in properties checkmark "Disable Desktop Compositions".
Video card issue #1: If you find that the colours are weird or the game won't work (or bad fps), go to Programs --> Diablo II --> Video test and then click skip test and select "DirectDraw 2d" (2d and 3d versions make little difference. 3d version is not as stable and depends on how your video card likes it too).
Video card issue #2: If all else fails (including driver updates ..etc), go to properties and run in 256 color mode (which the game fully supports lol) and it should work (it won't look as good though if you have a 21' monitor. But it is a old game so it wouldn't matter in the first place =P).
