Microsoft has announced that it will be releasing a new wired Xbox One controller in November that will work with Windows PCs straight out of the box.

“Arriving in November 2014, the Windows 7 and Windows 8-compatible controller brings the feel of the Xbox One to your PC,” Microsoft writes. “The Xbox One Controller + Cable is the culmination of over 200 prototypes; featuring over 40 awesome innovations, it’s the best PC controller Microsoft has ever produced.”

The controller plugs into any USB slot and updates automatically, and will also work either wired or wirelessly with your Xbox One.

It’s worth noting that Xbox One owners can already use their Xbox One controllers with Windows PC by downloading the drivers from here.
