i tryed using wifi before but it wouldn't ever log servers .

you need to know a lot about your router and pc-stuff

Its fairly easy if you can follow simple instructions it can be done within 20-30 minutes, of course if you are flashing your router with DD-WRT firmware make sure its supported in their Router Database (it all depends on the chipset)

If you're able of working with computers, you're able to do this.
It's not difficult, it might just take a bit longer if you're not an expert.
