Hey guys,

I've been having some problems eversince I updated from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 (idk if it is related).

Everytime I start Wolfenstein ET, I get these Lines running trough my screen, horizental lines.

It's quite frustrating because it's there while playing as well. Some maps have a more extreme lines, and in some maps the lines are hardly noticable.

I tried capturing the lines with a screenshot, but they do not show up on the screenshot....

I hope anyone knows how to fix this.

Did you reinstall video drivers? Any updates have released for graphics? Do you have matching reso with monitor in ET? When you join game then it shows in console while scrolling up.

Lines like this?

If yes it's called tearing. Limit your fps so they are not (much) higher than your monitor's refresh rate. 125 fps / 120 hz is a good sweet spot for ET. You can also use vsync but you will get input delay with it...better leave it off and handle it by setting fps and hz.

Okay, thanks for all the answers, didn't get any notifications, so I didn't know you guys answered. Sorry about that!

I am quite a computer noob.

All I know is that it took HP about 2 months to release the kernel updates for my laptop after installing windows 8. It will take a while again I guess.

My beats boxes don't work eiter. Which I hate, because it was just louder haha.

Hope updating the kernel and driver will work.

Thanks for the suggestions.
