This will be my 2nd complete build that I've done. The first one I did back in 2008-2009 after graduating high school (yes I'm getting old ). A friend who has been into PC's a long time helped pick out the parts and helped me put it together. Back in 2016 I did a semi new build. I think I bought new case, gpu, hard drives, monitors and maybe psu. The other parts were bought 2nd hand from my friend who was building a new pc so we just kinda threw his ram, mobo, and cpu in there. Recently my gpu died. (MSI R9 390). This got me really considering a new build since I didn't build a whole new pc back in 2016. Welp... that's exactly what I have started to do. I'm excited because this time around I have been doing the research myself on what all is out there and figuring out what will work best for me. I've been taking it slow because I'm not really in a rush, but also because I picked the worst time to build a pc. Due to COVID-19 pc parts have been flying off the shelves so it sucks I decided to pick this time to build one. I probably started the build off wrong because I did not set a budget lol. Even though I did not have a budget in mind I was not going to be buying top of the line stuff. I was going to pick up parts that were good quality and can last me a long time without paying top dollar. I've attached a picture of everything I have purchased so far. I'm off to a solid start. I've purchased some important and hard to find pieces already and I'm able to use my gpu in my current pc. I have a little buyers remorse on the nvme ssd since I wasn't trying to buy top of the line, but my Samsung attachment got the best of me. My plan is to finish it off with probably a B550 board, a pcie gen 4 nvme, and some 3600 cl16 ram. My biggest struggle at the moment is deciding on a case! Feel free to comment with suggestions. I'd be interested to hear peoples thoughts on x570 vs B550 and case preferences. I'll be updating this topic as I go. Hope over the next few months I will have everything purchased. *knocks on wood*

Hope everyone is doing well! First off, thank you for the honored veteran status I knew I would lose the Staff title sooner or later due to the inactivity. I had it a lot longer than necessary I'm sure hehe. I decided to stop by because I had a free Saturday and I was going to see if the Easter weekend event was today. Looks like it is next week so maybe I will stop by if nothing comes up. While I'm here I thought I would at least check in and see who is still around. I have to give a hats off to all the dedicated people here keeping this train going. It's truly incredible what you guys/girls have done here to keep it going for so long. It looks like I celebrated my 10 year anniversary on the forums a few months ago 🎉. Anyways, sorry I am not around anymore. I went and got myself married so there's that. Life is going pretty well for me at the moment. Since getting out of college 5 or 6 years ago I don't play games like I used to. I played PUBG a bit when it first came out, but slowly stopped playing that. Went through a period of not playing anything and then Destiny 2 went free to play last fall for the base game... which is now what I mostly play during my down time. For the old folks around here I don't have a lot of contact with some of the older players. I'm still friends with Forsaken if anyone remembers him. I still pester .bb.blackhawk from time to time. I played a few games of Apex with an ex member =F|A=Blade not too long ago, but that's about it So, what is everyone else up to these days?

Hey guys!! I took a trip to Vietnam last week to meet someone special. Here are a few pictures from the trip. I had a blast and Vietnam was really awesome! I've been very fortunate to visit two countries this year. I stayed mostly in Saigon ( Ho Chi Minh City), but we took a trip to Da Nang and Hoi An for a few days and stayed by the beach. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an adventure. These first set of pictures is from Da Nang.

Greetings everyone! Thank you for joining me on my 3,000th post! It is a little more serious than most of my other ones. I know 3,000 isn't a big deal, but I don't post often these days so it took me awhile to get here. We can't all be like Chameleon and get 5,000 posts in a year and and eight months ( hehe <3). Anyhow I just wanted to say a few words about the clan and the great members here. I joined =F|A= on January 25th 2010. I wandered here after a fallout of my previous clan bloodbucket (.bb.) looking to join some of my old friends and find a new place to call home. It's been over 4 years now since I joined and I must say our leaders and members have built an amazing community. I know Dare and all the other leaders put in a lot of work to keep everything running smoothly and they couldn't do it without the help of all of you. On that note I'd like to thank everyone for their hard work and dedication! I can't make any promises, but I would like to show my face more often on some of the servers. Every time I go on a server to set levels I see new faces and I'm sure they wonder who I am as well. I feel that I have missed out on a lot of stuff over the past year or two with my inactivity and I apologize for that. I spent a large portion playing World of Tanks, but I can safely say I am 8 months clean from that game . Thanks for putting up with my inactivity. I leave you with a picture from our favorite cat. Now back to the basement... Someone has been naughty.
