Gaming mouse and mouse pad??? What do you use?

Just curious as to what kind of set up some of you were working with. Wanted to get a discussion going about mice and mouse pads to see if we can learn a thing or two from each other. If you have no interest in becoming a better player then this topic is not for you, but I always want to improve at everything I do. I am sure some of you do also. One of the best RTCW players of all time used to glue metal washers to the bottom of his mouse to reduce friction between mouse and pad. Nothing you can say here would surprise me. lol. What type of mouse do you use? What type of mouse pad? Dpi and polling rate? Thoughts about these settings? Do you warm up before playing? How do these things effect your aim personally? And what advice would you give to players that are still using stock settings? Etc.....

Help me buy a new mouse!

Ok I need a new mouse.. I'm afraid my Roppy Mouse (named after =F|A=Rop who was so kind as to buy it for me when I was in need <3) is starting to glitch a lot.. This is the one I have right now: I like that shape (or similar), so try to stick to mice with that typical 'gaming mouse' shape.. I don't like the 'pebble' shaped ones.. xD Requirements: - Shape as above - 'Forward' and 'Back' buttons on the left of the mouse (also in picture above) - preferably fairly central as in the picture. - USB (I always used wireless because its easier with my laptop but im getting sick of performance issues - if there are good wireless ones by all means suggest it but I think I should use wired) - Price: Maximum £30 / $50 / €40 - cant spend more than that. I'm not at all bothered about a 'rapid fire' button or anything - I just want a decent mouse with a good pickup and minimal negative accel etc.. Thanks for any help!! Chuckun
