roltz mentioned here how he uses higher sensitivity on jaymod and just kinda wanna expand on that based on personal experience.
i think you mostly play jaymod right? so i wanted to mention the varying distances there are on most maps in jaymod, from close combat fights to very long ones. im saying this cuz most good players if not all are very good at close combat (talking about the usual players with 50%+ acc) but if you put some on those players in capuzzo for example ive seen some of them drop to 38% acc, so what i wanted to say is that your sens might feel off depending on the map and on how you approach them, maybe you feel your sensitivity to be right in certain maps where you can force close combat fights the whole time (goldrush, bba, bremen, adler), but feel off when you have to play capuzzo, minas or river port when its tougher to pick close combat fights only or the other way around
for example i know im good at mid-range combat and i can get 50%+ in maps like capuzzo constantly and im worse with close combat, i know my sens is right for mid range fights but it might feel slow for tracking the players that move better in close range, but also reflexes and sound cues play a bigger role in close combat and im slow and can barely hear any steps so theres that too to consider with my poor performance in close combat
some of the great players can humiliate me in close combat but they are easily managable in mid-range combat so i think the map and how you approach it could impact on how you feel about your sens, maybe you should accept that there are worse maps for you and there best maps and keep your sensitivity how it is, or identify those maps and change sensitivity accordingly, or be me like me and accept that my accuracy is worse in close combat and look for mid-range fights only, from time to time i force myself to only play close combat to try and improve, or even play silent/etlegacy servers where most maps are small and i cant rely on mid-range fights
my last thoughts on this are when i have some days where my sens feels off i avoid changing it nowadays and just say to my self im having a bad day, at most it takes me 2 days to feel the sensitivity to be good again, and also become very conscious on how im gripping the mouse so i can be consistent with that atleast
hope all of this made sense considering english is not my first language
