so for my info, Whats -silent mod -jaymod -noquarter Is it like a few guys modded the hell out of the game into a format different from vanilla and the community stuck with these?

Im still new here and have a question, when i look in the server list to play online it seems every server is run by FA, is this right or am i seeing it wrong? If so this means theres a group of people passionate enough to take it all on the shoulders, good stuff!

To be honest im playing this on my laptop, but its about years old and i remember playing it 10 years ago on laptop and wifi when it ran superb.. Its an i5 quadcore something, but i might try it on the rig upstairs which has a 1060 which should be more than enough lol.. Yeah it must be something simple right? Though ive never had anything like this before Sure hope thisll help, ill check it out tonight! Thanks again!

Also, if i do this Autoexec, Will this save? Or is it something i have to do every time i start the game? (Wouldnt be a problem for me if thats the case) Ive tried different servers which i think arent of the Fearless Assassins but im not sure.. How big is the playerbase nowadays? Or is it all run by one group to keep it alive?

Hello everyone, Just registered.. with a question! After a lot of years i was happy to find this game is still going, as ive sunk so many hours into this, now i have it installed and im having massive lag.. -Its Win8 im using, my laptop is certainly up to the task - tried lowering graphics, no difference - tried maxpackets 100, no difference = tried seta_ uhhmm.. something 34000, no difference.. i know this is probably a simple setting/solution and the admin in the game tried his best, but he advised me to post up a topic cause abovementioned solutions sadly didnt help.. Looking forward to hear from you and get back into the game! Thanks in advance ==update== i also tried this: this makes me create a notepad file called "autoexec.cfg" which i need to copy to the "etmain" folder there wasnt an "autoexec.cfg" to begin with, someone in the game told me it had to be in the Jaymod folder, where also there wasnt any of those files... i did copy it to both but step 2: when i type into the console /exec autoexec.cfg it says "couldnt exec autoexec.cfg" I dont know how to fix this, my ping is around 15
