Corey
So I saw a post a few weeks ago about that new ATI video driver update for graphics cards soooo i was gonna attempt to dl it and install it but i ran into some problems. It did this last time I tried to update as well so me and forsaken ended up having to enter some cmd in the cmd box which it installed. here are some pics. If you need additional info plz ask. I have the EAH5850 graphics card. This is what i was trying to install. Pretty sure its the right thing http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catalyst.aspx?p=win7/windows-7-64bit I click install and then..... it stops working and closes
detoren
Are you sure you use a 64 bit os (vista or xp) and not a 32 like 95 procent of the ppl ? if thats not it first uninstall your drivers manually than install the new ati driver . Krauersaut
Make sure you've got the following runtimes installed: Visual C++ 2008 SP1 (or the x86 version for 32bit OS) and Visual C++ 2005 SP1 since I'm not sure which one did the trick. Corey
Thanks Krauersaut it allowed me to install the update after installing those runtimes It does appear a few things have changed since i did the update. The date is now more current but it still says DDI Version 10.1 Is that right? or should it read 10.7? thanks again
