On April 15, 1989, the semi-final between Liverpool and Nottingham in Alfa Cobb, because of the lack of doors and the presence of large crowds and poor organization ... caused one of the worst disasters in stadiums at all named "tragedy of the Hillsphere Stadium," so that the number of casualties between dead and injured reached more than 800 fans, 37 of them minors... After the investigations of the stadium stadium Kiz only 1700 spectators, while the entrance to the 3000 spectators to him... And that is why all the English stadiums dont have a "fence" ..

Yes remember that well, I an a Nottingham Forest fan and our fans had to watch the tragedy unfold without being able to do anything. Very sad. Luckily I only used to go to home matches back then so didn't go that day.
