RaV137 Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 Hi, I need some advise from you guys, who know a little about hardware. I'm going to buy additional 8gb ram and and new graphic card - geforce 1050ti - but I wonder whether these components will fit and there will be no problem with e.g. cooling or supplying with electricity. In a file below I'll put my whole specification. Thanks in advance for all your support https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B92n7EVmnLupU1JKaEV0elFIRFk (Just download file and then double click, it will open in a browser in readable format) Quote
redy. Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 Hey Rav, that file you posted is nearly unreadable. Can you post your components here? CPU MEM GPU PSU BOARD you can check the components with msinfo32,exe and dxdiag Quote
Vanaraud Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 It is NOT a good time to buy graphics card: http://www.tomshardware.com/news/ethereum-effect-graphics-card-prices,34928.html In the end of the month should AMD-s new Vega be rolling out, also Ethereum will shift its logic of how it is mined and AMD\Nvidia might roll out new patches of chips(totally my speculation). So it might be wise to wait 1-2 month for prices to stabilize. Also new APU-s from AMD might ease the situation a bit. 1 Quote
