Ol Smoke Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 I have a set of Logitech mike/phones that are USB and they are pretty good. I paid about $99 for them 2 years ago. But I needed a pair that connected thru a 3.5 mini plug. So I didn't need much. I bought the Amazon suggested from them for $20. I gotta tell you that these are great headphones. The clarity and the depth of the bass is amazing. They are really comfortable for on-the-ear style. Listening to music is so different now that I can run the headphones thru the HD audio in my PC. Now all I gotta do is figure out why COD4 won't find them. It still looks for the Logitechs. 1 Quote
Vanaraud Posted June 1, 2017 Posted June 1, 2017 Control Panel\Hardware and Sound, set your preferred output as Default. I guess USB has it´s own "soundcard", which is set as default right now. Maybe check if your integrated sound card has drivers installed, 99% of the cases it´s Realtek. It might be your integrated sound card is better than USB sound card, some of the difference might come from that. Dunno maybe you even have separate sound card, some audiophiles tell the difference from int sound card and separate sound card. Though some of the high end mobos have separate amps and "VRM" even for int sound system. But lucky you, I have USB 20.- cordless Headphones(Speedlink) and just can´t get them to play sounds, shows under Mixer but now sound plays... If I plug\unplug the USB stick 100x then it starts to play sounds. Quote
