Pizza was pretty much invented in the U.S (originated in Italy, evolved in US) And to make this post worth it, a video... Holy Diver - Ronnie James Dio (dedicated to soccer players , everything else is fine.) Starts singing at 1:45 I think http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64coD-rx9sk Edited June 29, 2010 by 3p!DeM!C Quote

O.H.-Kenobi Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 From the time I spent there, I'll second everything in the post about beautiful girls, good food, and not talking about soccer. I'd also add that the north of Italy is among the most beautiful places I've ever seen - places like Lake Maggiore will, literally, take your breath away. Also, since I speak Latin fluently (who am I going to talk to - the Pope?), Italy is the only place I can put that to use...reading 2,000 year old inscriptions. Nothing like reading the original Latin off the Arco di Costantino! The wine's great, too. So, all in all, I like Italy. Quote
Butterz Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 UR THE PUSSY XD yes, i know, we sucked like hell this world cup.... there is just one thing to know about italian football: they just play as hard as the adversary does that means if they play with a bad team, they also play bad...and vice versa and they just play hard at end of games I wasn't just thinking about 2010, I was thinking about 2006. Some Italian noob took a dive inside Australia's box, and in the 89th minute, Italy got a penalty. Biggest piece of crap ever. Quote
krAzy :) Posted June 29, 2010 Author Posted June 29, 2010 lolz Krazy are you real italian ?? your english is so perfect xD xD my english is alittle bit better as usual italians...i live in the region south tirol (borders at austria) before worldwar this region was austrian, then italy got it nowadays 80% of south tirol speak german (as mother language), guess what, im in this 80% some of these people cant even speak well italian...but i hopefully do, coz my father is 'real' italian (from south italy) Sonno bianconerro a mio cuore. SoNo bianco-neRo NEL mio cuore =) Pizza was pretty much invented in the U.S (originated in Italy, evolved in US) sure it evolved... instead of using fresh tomatoes u use ketchup ;P From the time I spent there, I'll second everything in the post about beautiful girls, good food, and not talking about soccer. I guess I took about five years of it. It doesn't really reflect on whatever intelligence I've got, though - I only took it because we were required to take a language class, and to pass all the others you had to be able to speak it. Being as Latin is a dead language, they didn't require that you be able to speak it! Obviously, I was going to take the easiest path possible! Ended up really enjoying it, though. I was at the train station in Rome, trying to explain to an older Italian lady how to get to the airport. I was speaking Latin and she was speaking Italian, and we could actually understand each other if we kept it simple - right up until I tried to say "airport"...and realized that there wasn't a Latin word for it. You know, not having airplanes in 50 B.C. and all. Quote
