HA, HA @ the ideas that people get!  Using a modern computer to reproduce an old amusement technique is hilarious!  Of course, it is a lot easier to disassemble a GIF and make a flip-book than it was for the old-time artists to draw each frame and then assemble the prototype book for testing before sending the work to the printing presses.  :D
