In the earliest days of promoting Justice League, Zack Snyder used the phrase "Unite the Seven," which refers to the seven members of the team. Till now, it seemed like only six members would be appearing in the movie. Maybe not. According to a new report, it looks like a member of the Green Lantern Corps. will indeed be appearing in Justice League, which is a pretty big deal.

The report comes courtesy of The Wrap, by way of reporter Umberto Gonzales. They recently published an article about Justice league in honor of the movie coming out in exactly a year as of yesterday. Umberto Gonzalez posted the article to his Twitter account and teased fans with a bit saying "MAYBE I threw a little itty bitty scoop in here for you guys." As it turns out, he did. Here is what he had to say in the article.

"A member of the Green Lantern Corps. Will be seen in
Justice League
 in a key sequence.

It was revealed by Warner Bros. quite a while back that this new take on Green Lantern would be a team movie, involving several different Green Lantern's, thus, making it the Green Lantern Corps. This new information is very unclear about which member it will be. Could it be Hal Jordan? Could it be John Stewart? Those would seem like the most likely candidates, but it is very hard to know. What matters is, at least according to this report, a new Green Lantern will appear in Justice League and it sounds like it will have a significant impact on the movie.

Colin Farrell is going to be in Justice League and has been given a mystery role. Could he be playing one of the new members of the Green Lantern Corps.? It is possible, but it doesn't seem like the right role for him. It also seems difficult to believe that Warner Bros. and Zack Snyder have managed to keep this a secret this long, assuming it turns out to be true. Either way, it means we will presumably be seeing a fully formed Justice League at some point during the movie and that is no doubt exciting, despite some of the previous misfires in the DC Extended Universe so far. Here is the official synopsis for Justice League.

"Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by
's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes-Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash-it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of
 proportions."

Justice League features a cast led by Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg. And if this report is to be believed, a mystery actor will be playing Green Lantern. So get ready to see the seven unite DC, fans. The Justice League movie is set to hit theaters on November 17, 2017.
