How to get PMs?

This is a real noob question (apparently!). How do you read and send PMs in game?

 

JoeDirt sent me one yesterday but I couldn't read or respond.

If you see it at the bottom of your screen then you can read it. If you didnt see it, press your tilda key (~) next to 1 above tab, to open the console you will see it in there. If not scroll up. To reply you can either do /m playername whats up or you can also do /m slotnumber whats up. To bind it to say P in jaymod, press ESC, find JAYMOD on the tab, click that and find MISC and there should be an option in there to bind Private Messages to a button.

Do you make it your utmost mission to point out to EVERY admin possible, that you dont like this, or you dont like that, or something isnt the same that you played on a different server. Your starting to remind me of a player who spammed EVERYTHING. Kandya rings a bell. Lol well Im glad I can do that ahaha. I have taken a break, ive played ET, ive cleaned my house, ive made lunch and breakfast for my brother. And now just sat down to bug people lol. But yes, I will agree, that one WAS spam, and unhelpful as I explained over on that thread
