Shooting is being reported in the Turkish capital, Ankara, with military jets and helicopters seen in the sky above the city.

 

According to reports on Twitter, the authorities have closed the two Bosporus bridges in Istanbul, where military jets have also been spotted flying.

The reasons for the Turkish Air Force taking to the skies late Friday currently remain unclear.

Also dutch news reports as well in ankara but also istanbul soldiers are deployed they mentioned also something that the police getting disarmed and that it involves troops but also tanks chopters and fighter yets

latest update it's a full scale militairy coup the current president erdogan told the citizens to come to the streets and fight the coup the soldiers also taken control of all airports so it seems like a tense next in turkey even minister kerry from the USA had nothing to say about it simply because he doesn't know

well in any case chaos full scale reports that tanks have shot firefights erdogan called people to go on the street fights everywhere it will be a tense night just hope all stay under control but it seems more and more it's going out of control full scale
