TimoMajere
I couldnt find any particular forum thread to post this in so I guess Suggestions will suffice and if need be.. Feel free to move it to a proper place. It goes for anyone who uses Ventrilo: This is a way for everyone to tune Ventrilo so that everyone's voice comes in a pretty much the same level so there isnt any ppl barely heard and then BAM someone comes in LOUD as heck! Go to Setup Enable Direct Sound Select the SFX Button Select Compressor and click Add. Under Compressor Properties, use the following settings: Gain = Adjust for how loud you want people to be. (I use 15) Attack = 0.01 Release = Around 500 Threshold = Around -30 Ratio = 100 Pre delay = 4.0

Brisk
Very cool, didn't know you could do anything like this in Vent. I'll have to try it out.
Administrators JoeDirt Posted July 20, 2010 Administrators Share Posted July 20, 2010 This worked on old vent clients but not sure if it works on the latest version.
TimoMajere
It should work on current versions as well. Im on the most recent version after having some sound card issues on an older version and it works just as well on the current one.
