Hobbies or Time pass?

People said they have some hobbies etc.. But i believe thats not a hobby i called Hobbies time pass.. Isnt ?

Well that's an pessimistic way to look at hobbies....

I approach hobbies more in a way of building things or doing things you're passionate about.

And yes, in an certain way its a way of passing time... bud thats more a philosophical discussion than a way to describe hobbies.

Hobby is basically something that u find urself enjoying doing it on regular basis, that obviously is connected with the "spare" daily time u have left from work and other obligation, considering hobbies are meant to be done in a free time period, once u are done with all the important daily stuffs. In one term it's obviously a time waster, but then so are the rest of stuffs, u waste 8 hours at work each day, u waste 5-7 hours of sleeping, u waste hour or two to eat, basically for everything u can say it's a time waster. Hobbies are something that u have fun doing it and there's tons of different stuffs that u can entertain urself, from playing games, rebuilding cars, driving on bike, doing sports or going to hills, list goes on and on and all of that is meant to make u enjoy your time doing it.
