I wonder if he saw a cartoon showing all the happy vegetables playing at the broccoli farm?  The ones that anthropomorphize veggies with eyes and arms and legs and then the kids don't want to eat them?

that was the first i was thinking on to. see cartoon dancing and all and then he see an dead farm..

Farmers do have fun, but not as much as they show in the cartoons, unless they "drop acid" or something.  :D
