I need help with cfg please!!

Hey guys, just wondering if someone could give me suggestions on a good cfg for the computer im using. Have a Dell Precision 380 (http://www.dell.com/downloads/global/products/precn/en/spec_precn_380_en.pdf) not sure how to read the specs. Also have a Logitech MX518 mouse and a Hanns-G JW197D monitor. If anyone could PLEASSSEEE help me out it would be much appreciated.

Ok so since you didn't write about your specs clearly, I've made config but placed values you need to set for yourself.

So I'll explain some stuff inside this config:

On start you have some cvars that need to be set, like resolution, crosshair sensitivity, fov etc.
F10 is a quick bind for windowed, and window is in the center of the screen but on 1920x1080 resolution so you need to adjust this if you have different resolution.

In config there are mouse4 and 5 binds where mouse4 is used for script which allows you to turn off and on hud(just crosshair visible if hud is off) and mouse5 bind is free to use.

alt - script for walk with less sensitivity

n - stats cause alt is for walk

m - topshots

F6 - exec your config(you can use f6 instead of typing, but after cvar was set and archived so you can use it on next game launch.

f7 vid restart

f9 screenshot

f8 sound volume script

f11 !spec999

f12 !listplayers

mwheelup - change to weaponbank 3

mwheeldown - change do weaponbank 6

On numpads you have class selector

and at the end you have scripts that are used.

 

Config is mostly low graphics for high stable fps. 125 set at the moment.

Since you're admin I've set cg_logfile "client.log" so you have all conversations from server in that file.

Don't know if this config suits you. If you can be more specific I can make another one
Use guide from link that Tacle posted and write if you want to have mostly default config or modified.

Are you talking about to make you better at game?..for highest stable frame rate..sensitivity of mouse..field of view..lowering graphic settings..to get better results..looking at your PC you showed in PDF file looks like basic older PC ..you can improve all this in game in system,view settings..and on jmod display and other for basic improvements..then go from there with more cvar settings in console..I don't prefer to go real deep about configs myself
