A fire erupted at a warehouse in the Russian city of St.Petersburg on Saturday, sending a huge mushroom cloud of black smoke into the sky.

According to local media, 240 firefighters were working to contain the blaze.

No deaths or injuries were reported, and meteorologists said there was no risk to health from the fumes, local media reported.

In the video, which is taken from a distance, the fire continues to rage through the warehouse creating a black cloud which overshadows the city which extends several miles in the sky.
