Question

As a trial member, what are we supposed to do on the sites?

I was told I can WARN

Is there a list of commands? how do you issue the warnings properly? How do you see if someone is breaking the rules? do you go to spectate mode?

Do warnings turn into kicks if enough are given?

I have been on the COD4 hardcore site for quite a while.

I keep running into a player called Vue I have warned him almost every time he is on not to use LS

He was kicked and just returned when I issued a verbal warning. I have a picture of the warning. But picture is 404 KB got it down to 40 k but looks grainy is there a way to send the screen shots?

Should I be PM ing a COD leader?

Yeah, I know I have to look for highpingers/abusers/cheaters/flamers and warn/kick/ban them and even teams whenever it needs to but when I type !shuffle it doesn't work and I can difficulty start putting everyone in another team before warmup ends.. I'm admin lvl 7 isn't that enough? :)

If you can warn is a great step to learn, you can always take a SS or call to high admin for whiners or suspicious players.

Theo,

Try to find an admin or a regular clan member on xfire. We are always ready to help out. In cod you should just try to verbally warn people. Sometimes it will work if you just talk to them. I have seen Vue a few times in the server I will try to keep an extra watchful eye on him next time I see him. Going to spec is the easiest way to watch a problem player.

If I am on xfire feel free to send me a message if you need some help with something. The co-leaders and leaders are always willing to help out whenever there is a problem too so don't be afraid to ask.

here is what you need to know.

to see list of commands that you are able to do as a trial member, type in !cmdlist. while in game. all you can do is warn anyway.

yes if you warn someone enough, eventually they will be automatically kicked from the server. but do not do !warn 3 times in a row just go kick someone immediately. give them time to do what they are told

usually you would just warn for last stand or if someone is just being an ass on the server.

if you have warned someone multiple times but theys till come back, xfire a higher admin, or a cod4 leader, such as myself, to get on the server to handle the situation. and again if you have screenshots of someone doing something wrong

xfire me or another high admin to look at them, so they can decide what action needs to be taken. you should be able to use like photobucket or something to put the pictures on forum

if they do not have xfire, next best thing to do is PM them on forum so they can see to it. just tell them the person who is causing the trouble. i am sure they will look out for them on server.

hope this answers some questions.

For trial members that are on the lookout for punks and notify leaders on Xfire, it is a great stratagy. You not only solve the problem, but get noticed as doing your job by the guys who will promote you.
