In case you missed any details from the Assassin’s Creed Syndicate reveal, here’s what you need to know about the next evolution in Ubisoft’s historical action-adventure series.

Who are the main characters?
The protagonist this time around is Jacob Frye, a 21-year-old assassin who is looking to unite the boroughs of London under the Assassins in order to rescue them from the corruption of the Templars. He’ll be joined by his twin sister Evie, who will not only be a key confidant, but is also said to be a playable character during key portions of the game.

What will Jacob be wielding weapon-wise?
He’ll be making use of weapons like a Kukri (Indian sword), revolver, brass knuckles, and a new assassin gauntlet that features a grappling hook called a “rope launcher.” That last tool will be quite interesting, as Jacob will not only be able to use it to zipline across wide gaps, but even to assassinate targets mid-zip. Classic air and haystack assassinations will be available, as well as new environmental kills, such as cutting ropes to drop wooden barrels down onto enemy’s heads. You’ll also be able to make use of hallucinogenic darts, which will turn enemies against one another.

How about the setting?
This time about, Ubisoft is taking players to London in the year 1868, a period filled with progress and new discoveries thanks to the industrial revolution. As opposed to a number of previous entries in the series, this will be a world ruled by money and the upper class—not religion or kings. The boroughs of Victorian London will play home to seven Templar gang leaders, who Jacob will be looking to remove in order to unite the local gangs against the Templars.

Anything new about Syndicate’s gameplay?
Well, one of the things we’ve seen so far directly relates to that previous point: gang wars. Jacob will be able to team up with around a dozen allies to face off against a gang of equal size, culminating in one gigantic brawl. That’s definitely one of the core concepts this time around—being in the middle of down-and-dirty street fights—but another will be a deeper sense of movement in the game. For example, vehicles will play a big part of the world of Syndicate, and players will not only be able to ride on top of them, but also perform assassinations off of them.

What about its release?
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will be hitting on October 23rd for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with a PC release coming “Autumn 2015.” So far, there’s been nothing announced in the way of last-gen versions—and if we were you, we wouldn’t be holding out breath waiting for such news.
