Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 MacBook Air (13-inch, Mid 2013) Processor 1.3 GHz Intel Core i5 Memory 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Graphics Intel HD Graphics 5000 1536 MB OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 Storage space 12GB remain OF 120GB I use the command sudo renice -20 etl now ever since upgrading to stupid Yosemite which killed my FPS from a steady 125 to now around 76 with the sudo command is a must. Etlegacy 2.71rc4 is my version of Enemy Territory. Please help me out this is the autoexec below i'm currently using. Also just to add, I have been experiencing the *SHIFT* key interferes with switching to weapons of any kind while I am pressing it, so I have had to readjust and learn to use the sprint button on mouse2 while slowly reprogramming my brain to stop touching the shift key which on occasion from using the shift key since 2009 its damn difficult to change the habit. Clan Friend SunLight Posted January 13, 2015 Clan Friend Posted January 13, 2015 sprinting with mouse2 is good (especially for trickjumping, where your left hand is already more than busy) but if you like shift, there is a solution for that problem you mention, I think I forgot the actual codes, and I cannot check from here but for example on Linux shift+2 produces a different keycode, so If I want to bind it for the pistol I need 2 binds, something like bind 2 weaponbank 2 bind (some obscure hexadecimal code here ^^) weaponbank 2 in either case (2 or shift+2) I would get the luger. Maybe in your case it's the same, maybe not. 1 Quote

Clan Friend SunLight Posted January 14, 2015 Clan Friend Posted January 14, 2015 As far as I remember, to figure out all those codes, I used a temp config like this (after making a *backup* of mine!) bind 0x00 say "0x00" bind 0x01 say "0x01" ... bind 0x0F say "0x0F" bind 0x10 say "0x10" ... bind 0xFF say "0xFF" I used a script to generate the whole thing, nobody would write 256 lines by hand... then /devmap goldrush (ofc it makes no sense to join an online server with that cfg), and every key I press I see the code in chat, I make note of the codes, and then do the actual binds in my config. Maybe an easier way would be to discover the code from the main menu (where you bind keys) but I don't have ET here, so it's just a guess, I don't know if it's possible to read the code there. 2 Quote
