Finally got an answer from Microsoft about IE 11....

About two months ago I sent a letter to Microsoft about why there were so many problems with IE 11 and our forum and some other problems I had with it.

I got a response this morning.***

 

In a nutshell:    64bit IE 11

 

It has some marvelous things about it, but, it has one really big problem.  It is not backwards compatible with all (or most) websites that are running certain

software for their blogs, forums and sites.

 

So now I am trying to revert back to 32bit IE 11 which I am told can be done.  Supposedly it will work with most sites.

 

We shall see.

 

 

***It helped that I used to be on the TechNet Team from 1998 - 2001.
