Blizzard’s 10th anniversary event for World of Warcraft is now live, offering players a chance to revisit the Molten Core raid, earn a Molten Corgi pet, and more.
 
The event begins today, November 21, and will run until Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 10 a.m. PST. Anyone who logs in during the event period will automatically be granted the Molten Corgi mini-pet.
 
In terms of content, there’s a 40-man Raid Finder version of Molten Core for level 100 players. Completing this raid will earn players a Core Hound mount and a Raid Finder-quality helm.
 
Blizzard has also introduced a special battleground for the duration of the event that recaptures the feeling of the endless tug-of-war from WoW’s early years between Southshore and Tarren Mill. Two brackets are available: 90-99 and 100. Winning in this battleground will unlock either the Tarren Mill Terror title for the Alliance or Southshore Slayer title for the Horde.
 
Earlier this week, Blizzard announced that World of Warcraft’s subscriber numbers are back above 10 million.

besides the bugs... the 40man tarrenmill southshore BG is really fun. Just mindless killing xD
