Please get rid of creek.

The map is quite unbalanced. The team who controls the house with the big roof kinda dominates if team strength is fairly even.

 

Bog would be nice to get back.

I've never felt that Creek was unbalanced o.O

In fact, I try my hardest to spawn down at the bottom of the map so I can have my special little spot all to myself.

 

Personally, I'd say Bog was unbalanced. It's basically a case of "First team to get an airstrike".

Creek is unbalanced for stupid people.

 

Without logging on if you told me who was playing on that map I can pretty much tell you who will be spetnaz and who will be sas.

 

Sas gets the shitty end of the deal if they can't flip spawns. Or if you get a team of newbs that just rush without thinking.

 

The map is great for strategy play or for a smart SAS team. Otherwise, it's another case of shitty vacant spawn rape.

I agree with both sides, kind of

 

With what Sid was saying, I enjoy being SAS on that map (The "unfair" side) because I like the challenge of flipping spawns. It's not impossible, and with a half-decent team with 1-2 great players, it can be accomplished quite easily.

 

However, I do see why some dislike it. Those who are stuck on SAS with a poor team suffer from an entire game of spawnkilling. It's unfortunate, yes, but it's no different from other maps. The lesser team typically gets spawn trapped. But, again, any spawn trap can be gotten rid of with the right team.

 

And bog.. I don't see a problem with Bog. I don't love it, nor hate it. Just another map.

The point I'm trying to make is that while you can get spawnraped on just about any map, it strongly differs from map to map how easy it is to flip spawns.

Take crash for example. Many times the worse team gets pinned down in the garage corner. It's fairly straight forward to push the right side down the lane to get to the shop. Sure there might be snipers but they're pretty easy to see and get rid of.

Compare this to creek. Going over the hill is just as dangerous and stupid as going down main street at crash, down the hill towards the chopper. The tunnel can be compared to the sky-roof building. It's hard to flip the spawn these two ways. However there is a similar side-route on creek (the waterfall). The difference compared to crash is that with creek you've got about half the map full of potential snipers just to pick you off.

 

I've managed a lot of times to flip the spawn on creek, but all of those were considerably harder than on most other maps.

A lot more times I got very frustrated because it didn't work. And I don't think my skill is the problem here.

 

Hopefully we can see other maps given the opportunity here. It's time for a change anyway B)

When marines are stacked, Crash sucks. Have fun getting out of spawn no matter what way you push. With people camping ops snipe spot it pretty much screws everyone else over until marines get stupid and push into that spawn.

 

As for creek-- for SAS it's more of a waiting game. If people would learn not to rush, you can draw the other team into a trap and flip. I use the word stupid, because when playing in pubs... Half the players are not very smart in tactics. It's braindead rushrushrush play lol

 

The few times I've been on SAS and won, it's because of those guys that actually listen when someone who knows the map tells them the best way to overcome it. When I play spetnaz I trololololo all map long because I can sit on top of the hill and fire 4x tubes into the cave and wind up with well over 100 kills by map's end. It's the lack of patience and strategy.

 

Creek is an awesome map. But for pubs... it's a joke because of that lolmlgproswag mentality that plagues the COD franchise. Everyone wants to rush no matter the side, and for SAS it's a stupid maneuver. It's all about playing the tactical waiting game.

Another plea for someone to drop CREEK from the map rotation. It's been too long. kthx

 

What don't you, personally, like about Creek? Just wondering.

Go to the Suggestions and fill out what you want for a new rotation on beginners.

I personally like creek but i would LOVE to have some crossfire or wet work :)
