Those are my old steel wheels from my skates.  How the heck did they get there?  I always thought that alien encounter I had was just a dream.

The issue I have with the photo is if they were wheels, why the heck would you use such small wheels on a surface as crappy as Mars.  Big balloon tires maybe.  Unless it was part of a track mechanism.  I'm going with a kids toy on the beach that was lost.  Before the water evaporated. :)
