Visceral Games has confirmed that Battlefield Hardline will launch with nine maps and seven game modes.

General manager Steve Papoutsis revealed the numbers to YouTube user “Jackfrags” in a recent interview. ”There’s actually 7 game modes, 9 multiplayer maps, a whole single-player campaign, a unique story, different weapons, new vehicles [and] eSports modes,” he said. ”There’s just tonnes of stuff that I’m really happy to talk about and excited and proud of what the team’s doing.”

The confirmed game modes so far are Hotwire, Rescue, Blood Money, Heist, Conquest, and Team Deathmatch. What the last mode is is still unknown, but Papoutsis confirmed on Twitter (via Mp1st) that it won’t be Rush.

Earlier today, DICE released a major update for Hardline‘s predecessor Battlefield 4 that adjusts soldier movement, removes several exploits, fixes a ton of bugs, and much more.

Battlefield Hardline is coming to PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC in 2015.
