Trying to join a game in ET

I down loaded the game and having trouble stating up a game not sure why? any help?

Ok uninstalled the game and trying to reinstall it

Are you getting an error message?  Is the game not starting at all when you double click the .exe file or icon on your desktop?  Are you using xfire to connect to a server?

It starts to down load the game the stops and says reconnect or back

is this happening while connecting to a server?

yes

when it happens try going into your console with the ~ (tilde key) and i think the command is /cg_autodownload 0.  then type /reconnect.  see if that helps

Also try to run it as an admin, that might help
