Also, nothing against you, but YCN was a terrible experience for me. Lag, crashes and other bullshit for months. Once one problem seemed to stop, a new one began. :(

 

Hey mate you still host with us because when i set up a server i never get lags on it my expirance from hosting in YCN is amazing never had trouble like medic said if you need help just make a ticket and we will provide help.

 

The office today is great admin are so kind and staff easy to work with and understanding never seen better office.

Weird last time I checked they didn't have one, nice to see them expanding where abouts is it?

When I was 15, I answered support tickets, handled live chat requests and was listed as staff for a dedicated server company due to my interest in the subject and knowledge in the field from IT.

 

I certainly was not employed, nor was it my job - That's the point I'm trying to make. The internet is not serious business.

We took our Jaymod server away from YCN after they had a system failure which wiped it out totally, to be fair we may just have been their most unlucky customers but we did have non stop issues with them and yep we certainly took out a lot of support tickets, but as Terror said as soon as one issue was fixed another one was on the horizon.

Also like I said to be fair they also refunded a months worth of payments.

 

@medic yep the control panel is a work of art and a joy to use.

Nothing against GSP's but personally if i wanna host a server, i'll set it up all by myself on a box and i will definitely not rent it from a GSP.

I simply enjoy having FULL control on my server, with ssh access (i host them on linux only), my own start scripts, iptables and all the stuff. Most of the time your GSP doesn't let you have the control you need on your server, and that's a pain.

 

Beside that, Hi Adrian, welcome to our forum :) I also hope to see you on hardcore sometimes :P
