Radio and voice over legend Casey Kasem has died after a long illness. Kasem suffered from Lewy body disease, a progressive form of dementia, which left him unable to speak, eat or move on his own. He was transferred to hospice care in Washington state shortly before his death.

I remember listening to him on AM radio doing the American Top 40 show growing up, he was one of those guys who you thought would never get old (like **** Clark and Pat Sajak).  Sad to hear he went out like he did, what with the family squabble and all of that nonsense, but the guy was a legend who made a big name for himself, and will be missed.
